Radio voice phenomenon (RVP): Receiving the voice of a deceased human being over a regular radio.
Regression: (a) a statistical technique that enables predictions to be made from a set of data. (b) a technique used in hypnosis, involving suggesting to hypnotized persons that they are returning to an earlier time. Sometimes the regression occurs spontaneously, without suggestion. See also past-life regression.
Reincarnation: The belief that some aspect of a person's being (e.g., consciousness, personality, or soul) survives death and can be reborn in a new body at some future date.
Reincarnation is often seen as a repeating cycle of death and rebirth in which future lives are influenced by past and present actions through the law of karma. Cf. rebirth.
Remote Viewing – Used by some psychics, this is a procedure in which the percipient or psychic attempts to become physically aware of the experience of an agent who is at a distant unknown location through ESP.

Repressed Psychokinetic Energy: A theoretical psychic force that is believed to usually be produced unconsciously by an individual that has undergone physical or mental trauma. When released it is believed that the power can causes paranormal occurrences such as poltergeist activity.
Residual haunting: An energy imprint of a particular time and place. Most often an apparition seen repeating the same thing at the same time.
